FWK-Sporthorses Anlage Bocholtz Draussen


Our massive indoor arena (30m x 65m) resides on an approx. 20.000m² estate in the commune of Bocholtz (Netherlands), which is just 5km away from the world famous equestrian capital Aachen (Germany). Attached to the arena is a single-sided wing with 30 stalls and two wash areas including solarium. The excellent training environment offers two outdoor rings, one with sand ground encompassing 40m x 80m and one lawn ring (30m x50m). A walking machine, longe circle and plenty of paddocks with an impressive panorama of the "Netherlands' Alps" complement our facility in the heart of Europe directly on the border of Germany and the Netherlands.

Frederik Knorren

The today 26 years old Frederik Knorren started his show jumping career at the age of 9 where he competed successfully in the pony class. At the age of 11 he started to gather his first victories in classes up to 1,35m. After his first victory with the horse Joy, Frederik received the golden medal as part of the German Rider Awards at the age of 18. 2007 he has been nominated to join the German national team. Besides victories in several Grand Prices and Nation cups, Frederik celebrated 50 victories in the S-class (1,40m) with 20 different horses. Additionally, second placements and a winning title in 2008 in the regional junior championships (Rheinland championship) and nine successful participations in the German junior and young rider championships confirm his continuous progress in becoming a talented Youngster in German show jumping. With 44634 points in the ranking list in 2011 Frederik is placed at the 5th place among the under 25-year old throughout Germany. Based on several placements in lucrative three-star S classes he was also able to gain his first world ranking points.
